I am getting a BSOD 0x0000006b

I have a duel boot with Windows 10 and Windows 7.
When I try to boot into Windows 7 I get a BSOD 0x0000006b.
I have booted with a Windows 7 and run Recover three times.
I still get the same BSOD.
I have tried running dm log collector.exe from my Windows 7 USB in a command window.
I get:
D:\>"dm log collector.exe"
This version of D:\dm log collector.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information and then contact the software publisher.

I'm running this on a Lenovo laptop W550s.
I can't run Speccy within Windows 7 because I can't boot it.
I did run Speccy within Windows 10 so you could see the machine I am working with.
I know it won't help a lot. I'm hoping it will help a little.

It does have SP1 applied long before it stopped booting.
I do have a backup image and I just restored it just in-case that would fix it.
The backup image was made with Macrium. I was hoping their boot repair would fix it.
I don't have any restore points.

This bugcheck has mostly to do with ntdll.dll, which is the most important DLL for user mode in Windows. Now, seeing that the first parameter is zero I think this may be caused by corrupted system files or deleted files in system32. Have you tried to restore your system?

I did restore from a backup. That didn't fix the problem. I tried running :

SFC /SCANNOW /OFFBOOTDIR=C:\ /OFFWINDIR=E:\Windows

I was hoping that would fix it.

I finally gave up.

Hello Docfxit, I'd like to help you with this problem. Reading the thread and knowing you tried to restore from a backup and it didn't work, have you tried doing a clean install and then restoring your most appreciated data (not the whole system) from that backup?

I haven't tried a clean install.

1. It's a dual boot currently. The other OS is windows 10. If I was to do a clean install I would have to remove windows 10 so that windows 7 was the first install. After windows 7 was installed then I could restore windows 10 and do a recovery.
I had windows 7 with a dual boot at the time because some programs wouldn't run in windows 10. I have since resolved those programs. It's nice to have a second OS on the same computer in case there is a problem with windows 10. I currently have a hard drive I can boot up to that plugs into the USB to help in those situations.
2. I'm running out of room on the 1tb hard drive. I'd like to delete the windows 7 to allow more room for my windows 10.
3. Currently I don't (My personal opinion) like windows 11. At some point I will have to install it so that I can support it for my users.

It's time for me to move on.

Try doing a fresh install of Windows 7 and back up your current Windows 7 just in case doing a fresh install doesn't work. Also, back up your Windows 10 so you don't lose it entirely.
