I cannot pinpoint the source of my BSODs

Have you run a check disk from Windows (Start Menu->My Computer->Right Click Hard Disk(s)->Properties->Tools->Check Now->Check Automatically fix file system errors->Start->Run when the computer restarts if necessary)?

Also, since one of your BSOD was related to a system file, I would suggest running http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Update DirectX if needed, re-install the display adapter driver using the method I suggested if DirectX did not fix the problem, run a check disk if those two do not fix it, and then run the system file checker if the previous three fixes do not work.

probably a dumb question, by display adapter you mean graphics card right? my graphics card is listed under display adapter in device manager

Yes, the graphics card is under display adapter in device manager.

My directx is up to date.

I have a concern with what i found i driver sweeper, it says i have 2 display drivers, one by amd and one by nvidia, my graphics card is by amd, its ati rad hd 5670.

here is a screen shot of the drivers found by driver sweeper (attached)

why is that nvidia junk there? i dont have a nvidia graphics card, should i remove the nvidia drivers?

or should i leave the nvidia drivers alone, sweep the amd display, and reinstall an up to date driver for my graphics card

Those are the drivers supported by Driversweeper. They are not the drivers on your system. To sweep your AMD drivers, just select the AMD set and analyze and clean.

I ran the check disk. It did not solve the problem, sense I ran the check disk I have had 1 blue screen, and im here to post about it.

It said "NTFS.sys" and "page fault in non page area", i also wrote down the addresses...

After this blue screen i opened up windbg, and it now says my issues are "Probably caused by : Ntfs.sys ( Ntfs+a9c95 )"

I'm going to update my original post with information like what tests I already tested and stuff.

Any ideas to help me?

Yes I think i did the system file check a few days ago actually, but I'm doing it again. When I was trying to update my original post I actually had a "memory management" BSOD, which was annoying. I then booted in safe mode and got a blue screen when windows was starting up IN SAFE MODE. However I tried booting in safe mode again, and now im in it, just fine for now. Usually I get bluescreens on start up when I try to boot my computer after having to shut it down after receiving a non-start up blue screen. Maybe this blue screen in safe mode was just because I just booted it right after a blue screen, or maybe not. Anyway Im doing the new system file check, I will post back with results soon

Anytime you have a memory corruption BSOD, there is a chance of the corruption still being there when the system boots. To avoid this completely, shut off the computer, unplug all power sources (AC Adapter then Battery), hold down the power button for 30 seconds, plug power sources back in (Battery then AC Adapter), and turn your computer back on.

This will ensure that your memory is cleared and any corruptions are removed. It will also reset the software connections between the BIOS and hardware.

Run driver verifier as follows:
1. Backup User and System Files
2. System Restore Point - Create
3. if you do not have a Windows 7 DVD, System Repair Disc - Create
4. run Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

If Windows cannot start in normal mode with driver verifier running, start in safe mode. If it cannot start in safe mode or normal mode, use the system restore point using System Restore OPTION TWO

I believe the purpose of this is to see what kind of blue screens i get when it is enabled correct?

When should i stop using the verifier, when i get just one blue screen? should i make sure to test it in safe mode too?

Yes, we want to try to make your system blue screen to see if we can get a common problem to fix; then we can see if the problem persists.

I tested windows with the verifier turned on ( note: it was not checking microsoft corporation drivers as i enabled everything but those as the tutorial said)

The first time I test, windows boots up normally, few minutes later i open up skype, as soon as skype is logged in i get a bsod with information containing "portcls.sys"

Another time I tested it, i was running playing some music (via pandora), I also had starcraft on ( I was not playing a game though, just at menu), after I had those up, i started up skype, and then once again I blue screen when skype opens up, this time with "IRQL not less or equal"

In safemode i had no bluescreens with verifier turned on, and i could open skype in safemode. I dont think this is actually a skype issue, could be a coinstadence. I think I have had bluescreens without skype turned on, before.

It is obvious though, that the one of the blue screens I see with verifier turned on, is the portcls.sys, i dont see this with verifier off.

So what now?

I attached new dumps

Alright, you can probably turn off Verifier. Two of the BSODs were memory related again. Have you looked into the voltage compatibility of the RAM with the motherboard?

Yes, the ram uses 1.5, I actually tried yesterday using 1.6 voltage instead, it made no difference, so I set it back to 1.5

Should I just reinstall windows? Unless you can think of anything else to do. If its hardware issue though, reinstalling windows would be a waste of time. At this point, what could it possibly be?

I'm at a loss, then. Sorry, blarp. I really was hoping we could narrow it down to something more definitive. Maybe someone who has experienced a similar issue or resolved a similar issue can jump in. Sorry again... :(

You could try a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html, or you could try a clean install. The clean install (format and then install) would allow you to determine if it is hardware related. If the problem persists after a clean install, that would point to hardware.
