I can't connect to the internet after upgrading

after upgrading to windows 7, i can't connect to the internet. I'm using a wired network, my router and my modem work percetly, but it just doesn't work on the WIndows 7.

i updated the the drivers to the Network Adpaters.

Copy and paste ipconfig /renew to command prompt, hit enter. See if it helps any.

reset your router and your modem without any cable connected , after that plug all you cable
what type of connection dou you have? if you have a pppoe connection you will have to configure this conection

You prob don't have the right drivers, let windows find you the drivers instead of using the ones you got.

Thats what happened to me i used the drivers found on the belkin website for my network adapter. But then i let windows find me some by click on update drivers then "Let window find" then done.

i have tried resetting both my router and my modem but still nothing

im not sure what a pppoe connections, sorry


but i use Road Runner broadband for my internet.

I can't really do that since i can't connect to the internet, I tried that already but it said that my driver was up to date(10.0.2), then i went online and found a newer version(10.0.6) and installed it.
