I can't login to my user made administrator account, help!

Hi guys, I had only one user account on my computer up until a few days when I decided to make a user account separately for my younger brother so I could put parental controls on it. My one was an administrator and the new one was just a standard one.

However, on the Welcome screen I can only see user account for my little brother's account XXX and then another option Other User. I filled in my account details username and password but it said "the user name or password is incorrect". However if I go on to my little brother's account and do something that requires the password of an administrator, the password works fine. So I put in the password in the User Accounts panel of the control panel and removed the password from the administrator account hoping I could restart the computer and it would instantly log me in to my own account. However, I still only see my little brother's account on the welcome screen and "Other users". What's worse is that whenever I try to do something which requires the admin password, since I removed the password it says "The user's password must be changed before logging on the first time". So now can I not only log in to my own account, I can't even do things that require the admin password.

The system administrator account has not been enabled so it doesn't work when I try to log in with it.

I've tried to use password reset disks/USBs but neither have worked, I just get a black screen with blinking at the top left if I try to boot my PC using them.

Has anybody got any suggestions?

You might see if you may be able to do the tutorial below to help with this. If needed, you may need to boot into Safe Mode to try it.

Sorry but I can't do any of those as it requires the admin password. I removed the password from my admin password so it has no password and when it asks for one on prompt I just press enter and this is what comes up

Are you able to boot directly into Safe Mode (option one) instead of through Windows?

Yes I am, however whenever I try to do things like manage other accounts in the control panel, it still asks for the administrator password

In that case, you could also do a system restore at boot using a restore point dated before you changed the password. This would restore the password to what it was for the date of the restore point.

Okay whenever I try to do a system restore it says that the restore file is either damaged or deleted. I've tried to do 3 system restores before I changed my password and they have all failed.

In that case, see if you may be able to enable the built-in Administrator account in WinRE.
