I turned my recovery Drive into a wireless adapter or something, it has an Icon of a wireless USB adapter with green lines coming from it. Its a WinXP PC Desktop. How can I change it back to a normal Drive?

The pc sees it as a USB Wireless network I guess, since when I connect a real USB wireless Adapter it is named Wireless Connection 2.

What do you mean partition? im not that acquainted with the terms.

If this happened recently you could do a System Restore to solve the problem. It will restore your computer to an earlier point in time, your documents should not be affected.

BTW this is a XP comp?

You said your Recovery drive has had it's icon replaced with wireless icon, correct?

A Recovery partition holds a factory image which when run will recover your computer to factory condition.

Is this the Recovery partition (drive) on your HD and is it still intact - check contents after unhiding files at Control Panel>Folder Options>View?

Will it make the Recovery Disks or run if you cue it up from Windows or press the keys to run it from boot - just cue it up to see.

Or are you referring to an External Storage drive?
