I do not get a BSOD but every now and then my pc freezes and crashes

I'm not sure what is causing it, I just got a new hard drive and did a fresh install of windows 7 on it. I did leave most of my programs installed to a secondary drive "E." If anyone can figure anything out your help is much appreciated!

As you said the file doesn't contain dump files, follow this tutorial and configure a minidump.

Would I be getting a minidump file when it is not BSOD but instead just freezing up my pc? I do have it set to create one, and used SF Diagnostic Tool for the file attached. If nothing shows at the moment I'll wait for it to happen again and run SF again. Thanks for taking the time to look into it so far.

No, dump files are generated only when a BSOD occurs (or when set to be taken manually).
You set it only once but if your PC doesn't crash it won't matter.

If you PC is just freezing I would look into overheating and testing the HDD (not SSD).

Monitor the temperatures with Speccy.

   Warning

The following method should not be performed on an SSD!

Testing the HDD:

1. Perform a Disk Check | Disk Check
2. Then Post the results following | THIS METHOD
3. Download SeaTools for Windows if you don't want to use a CD to test the HDD you can use YUMI – Multiboot USB Creator to create a bootable USB (instructions are found at the bottom of both pages).
4. If SeaTools for Windows is unable to recognize your HDD visit HDDdiag and follow the instructions.
