they are each 10tb.
I plan on filling them up with pictures and mirror the drive. copy the same on both drives as an archive.
drives have 4 years of use on them. I dont plan to have mine on 24/7
basically once a month or more ,conntect it to a usb caddy, transfer, shut off and put to the side till theyre filled.
is it a no no to turn the drive on and off?
I dont know enterprise vs regular seagate iron wolfs I use. but Ive turned mine on and off without any thought. I copy what i need 200-400gb then shut it off and disconnect
any issue with this?
also, do enterprise drives run hotter then normal?
