I have 12Gigd of RAM can I cancel windows paging file on the SSD?
Why did I get so much RAM? The computer shop played a trick on me, originally the PC came with 4 gigs and I wanted to add some more ( being a 64 bit system) I went to the PC shop "I need to add RAM" "I only have 8Gigs at the moment"
So can I get Windows to stop using up my read and write cycles of my SSD and write it's paging file onto RAM?

With 12 GB I would just turn off the paging file.
A paging file is a chunk of space on the hard drive that is used as virtual ram, it doesn`t get written to the memory, it writes to the hard drive.
