I have a missing internet driver.......

a small town
ok im at a public library and im trying to search for a driver for my granddad. He's recently switched to windows seven and is not able to access the internet. as my name says im technologically retarded when it comes to a computers more advanced functions :cry:. all i know is how to do skype facebook twitter and play games online :p. i can do some VERY basic things on the command prompt but not many. so if i dont know what your saying please don't get mad. if anyone has any helpful advice or would so kind as to walk me through what to do it would be very much appreciated.

Post back the PC make and model as requested.

If it's home-built then tell us the make/model of the Ethernet or Wireless adapter. These may be listed in the Device Manager under Network adapters. Type Device Manager in Search box above the bottom-left Start button.

It's possible the driver was installed with Win7 and you only need to find the connection icon in the bottom right System tray row of icons, left click on it to connect to your network, or rightclick it to run Troubleshooter which will tell you exactly what's needed.
