The signal always seems to be low on Windows 7. It was constantly high on Vista. Speed on 7 rarely gets above 52 mbps, it was nearly always 72 mbps when on Vista.

It also says IPv6 connectivity: No network access.

Is that a bad thing? Little confused.

I suspect you are using "homegroup" because of your reference to IPv6. On some systems it causes slow downloads, and connectivity problems. You can easily verify if that is the problem by creating a new network connection using the "workgroup" model. If the problem goes away you can then disable IPv6 and kill homegroup.

Let us know if you need help

Try unchecking IPv6 in your network connection properties

So what about changing the group like zigzag said? How would I do that? PC says workgroup. Connection says home network.

Are you using the latest drivers? Check at WUSB100 Support.

I had a WUSB300 that actually performed better with XP drivers in Win7 than with the Windows 7 drivers. If the latest drivers don't do the trick, try some of the other ones.

Well Windows Update installed the drivers for it this time, everyone said the CD drivers are worthless on 7.

And I'd like to get the drivers from the support page, but there's no installer? And it's not very clear where the stuff needs to go, poorly explained.

To install new drivers, see Updating the Wireless Adapter’s Drivers
in the Cisco/Linksys knowledge base. After Step 8, branch to the Windows Vista section of the instructions, which will be the same as for Windows 7.

The Windows Update supplied drivers never worked as well for me as the ones I downloaded from the manufacturer.
