Solved I may just be the first on the block with new H100

out of curiosity, what were your load temp before? I know your idle went down 2 Celcius, so it must have been 40-41 before...but what about under load?

The 2 degrees was idle temps but I have to say that both the H50 and H100 hold temps at full tilt under 50-52c and this is sizzling summer temps with the ambient soaring inside the house. Like right now the room is cooler at 30.6c and the system is 37c at idle.

There are so many variables, case, location, number of fans, ambient temps, mobo, gpu(s) and as my AMD quad 3.4 is pushed to 4.0 totally changes the numbers, like buying a car for mileage....."you mileage may vary"! Oh and I just stuck the pump down with it's stock thermal paste.

I'll take my 2-3 degree Celsius drop and enjoy it with a slightly greater peace of mind while working and playing in what is a very hot area of So. Cal. and in the hottest room in the house. This whole install has me impressed with Corsair products and very impressed with that little H50. Really to my eyes I now have a controllable pump which I run wide open always and twice the radiator cooling surface. If you have the space and a open grate pattern which allows for the two 120mm fans side by side with no gap then I say go for it. But if your running a H70 or H80 series now then hold on to your money.

Just curious, have you measured the radiator inlet and outlet temperatures? There's a horrific loss of cooling capability with the way they set up their fans. But hey, I'm just a carwiz.

I haven't and wouldn't know how to go about it. I'm not a big fan....pun intended of Corsair stock fans. But with four 120mm fans encasing the radiator I compromised and ran the black Corsairs in speed control to quiet them as pullers on the outside and visible to the eye from the top. The beautifully ugly Noctua's are inside and out-a-sight !

Just hold a thermometer aginst the radiator inlet (should be the top hose). Wait about two minutes then read the temperature. Do the same for the outlet. I was just curious about the temperature drop through the radiator.
