i did a system update last night and the picture was going in and out and i was wonder why was it flashing like crazy.

By System Update I am assuming that you did a Windows Update on your Computer? If this is the case, you problem may lie in consensus and the fact that updating your video and audio drivers with Windows Update is a no-no, they break your computer more than help it.

Don't misconstrue, windows update is needed but drivers should be downloaded straight from the manufacturer or from the Company your computer was made... in this case Acer.

Download fresh drivers, save to a temp folder, uninstall video and sound drivers, restart, go to temp folder and install both drivers with Elevated Admin Rights (ie: right click on executable and Run as Administrator).

Usually (or for the most part) All-in-One = Universal = Not good for an specific function but mediocre all around... (read: it will do everything you want but not the best!).

Good Luck

That computer is basically a glorified laptop, without the ability to be portable. They reviews usually dump all over them because of that fact. if you are going to be using mobile parts...at least get a laptop so it can be mobile.

The reason I bring that up is, you probably have very weak graphics, with no ability for an upgrade. The only think you can really do is make sure drivers are loaded for your hardware, including the latest graphics driver.

In the future, suggest to your dad (or yourself, if you buy the next computer), to stick with a laptop or a desktop...not an inbetween. Those are good for very specific uses, like a shared kitchen computer, and little else. If you got into gaming or something that required more power, you'd have to buy a new system anyway, as those leave no room for upgrading.

Oh, and as the poster suggested above....use punctuation. If no one can figure out what you are asking or what the problem is....we won't be able to suggest anything useful. Help us help you.
