Solved I need help with my computer, something about physical memory

Suddenly, I got the BSOD (I use Windows 7 Utimate). It said something about psyhical memory. I have turned off my PC, then when I turned it back on it didn't post. I need help...
Here are my PC specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3ghz
ASUS P5KPL-C/1600
nVidia GT430
I used to have 4GB RAM but one of my sticks died so i have only 2 now
ATX SL8500BTX 500W

Sounds like the other memory module died. But, with the PC powered off, reseat the memory module (unplug then plug back in) and see if it makes a difference. If it still will not boot, with the PC powered off, move the memory module to a different memory slot and then try it.

2GB of RAM is bare minimum. Consider going back to at least 4GB of RAM.

Yep mate as fireberd says you really need the other 2GB RAM.

Did you run a memtest on the sticks by any chance? If not do this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

It takes some time and needs at least 8 passes you can even try the stick you think is bad in one slot on it's own any red error lines at all stop cos it is bad.
One other thing you can do is just reseat the sticks in the opposite slots too the reseating sometimes makes a better contact and even cleaning the contacts would not hurt on the sticks and the slots - a thin strip of old credit card with some lint free cloth over the end of it GENTLY wiped along the slot may get rid of some crud.

Well that ram died 2 months ago, I've send it to warnity and a new one should arrive soon. And yes I've tried to change the location of the slot.
Strange is that now the PC doesn't make anymore noise...
Edit: If that ram died too, then its somehing on the MB that damages them

Hum Calin by no noise I am assuming that there is no memory beep on power up??

Now also don't forget the GPU has memory too so maybe the card has memory problems?

As something else you could try is take the card out and see if the graphics work off the board port.

What brand of memory do you have. Another forum thread on memory problems brought this to mind. Avoid the Kingston Value RAM. It is known to be iffy and not even work in some PC's. The regular Kingston line is OK, just the KVR is questionable.

I've took out the GPU and reinstall it and guess what... IT WORKED! YAY!

Glad it got fixed mate - one of those little things you need to try first as we all tend to think the worst when stuff goes wrong
