Solved I Need Simple Software

I need a free Office type software program that functions like Word and Excel. No presentations, no fancy formatting. For the writing software I sometimes write letters, but I mostly copy and paste articles about record albums and they sometimes have photos so it needs to accept both. For the spreadsheet sometimes I make simple forms for my personal use but mostly I use it to again to copy and paste rows of data from my EBAY selling account. I like to make lists of things like albums...would need about 4 or 5 columns. And I need to sort. Again no hyperlinks (UGH) no merged cells..I do like wrap text. I have the Kingssoft but it's always formatting everything and there are just too many options. If I paste in the Notebook, no jpegs no columns or rows and sometimes they won't open . My frustration has been going on way too long. I finally decided to ask for help. HELP

Open Office or Libre Office would probably be your best options, or if you don't mind using an online service, Google Docs and Google Slides online using a Google account.

What about Softmaker Office? I use their free Ashampoo Office 2010.

I download Libre Offic and tried to copy and paste from my EBAY listings onto a spreadsheet. See the attached for how it came out. I'm sure it's the way that EBAY has it programmed, but I can figure out how to get rid of the "buy it now" all over the titles. In Kingssoft it would be listed as a separate line which I had to delete one by one. I have about 350 listings, so too much.

I don't use Libre Office, but in Excel, when I copy from a web page to the spread sheet, I have to select paste special and then paste as text or the web page's formatting gets copied as well.

If you are using the Internet all days, why not use Google Docs? It would be great.
