I really need some help with VLC Player error

Hi all,

Guys i need some help here, whenever i try to install VLC player i got this error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."

any idea?

Works well here under 7100 x86. Did you by chance install anything by Symantec? Any other programs giving this same error?

Nothing at all, and when i try to install nvidia windows 7 driver i got message "Setup.exe has stopped working"

Have you tried reinstalling it, or if you have not already downloaded the lastest version

Reinstall VLC and even when i reinstall the windows didn't solve the problem, but i guess its Memory issue. Because when i try to install nvidia driver/vlc/Steam and some other programs i got a message that telling me the software has stopped working.
if its a Memory"Ram" issue can i fix it?

try portable VLC, if it works then you can at least narrow down your search...

Not only i can't install VLC, but also PCtools antivirus, nvidia driver, Steam all don't work .. i run RAM error scan and driver scan from the boot screen and didn't find any error. format the pc and re-install windows 7 didn't solve the problem. i really don't know what is wrong.

When you installed Windows 7, Did you run your motherboard CD, and install the necessary software, I remember that vlc/youtube/WMP12 didnt play my sound correctly or at all until i installed it, even though i had other music software installed

Also try installing the latest Nvidia Drivers

did you try restoring it to the earliest possible time and then installing?

RustiX, i did what is better, format the PC and re-install "7"

have you tried installing an alternative media player such as The KMPlayer? i've installed VLC on mine without any probs and I never installed any drivers either.

RustiX, VLC is not the problem. The problem is i can't install most of the programs
