I suspect one of my hard drives has degenerated. I know I can check with chkdsk.Beginners Guides: Diagnosing Bad Hard Drives - PCSTATS.com
But how can I get a log of the problems? A humanly readable one. Not a log in machine or code language.
I don't believe that chkdsk can fix my hard disk physically. All it is doing is recovering data that has already been corrupted isnt it?
I want to prevent corruption in the first place by finding out if my hard disk is failing... and discarding it away if it is.
