How many hours per day do you guys sit infront your computers and actually use it? I mean not having it do tasks while your not there, but physically sitting there and using it.

I would say I use mines between anywhere 3-5 hours.

Yeah mostly 3-5 hours here as well.

But there's been a few 5-7 hour days as well. Between just messing around or doing some recordings.

I'm at my computer all day at work so if I exclude the periods when I'm away from it I'd say it would be around 7 hours. Then a few more at home after work. Probably 9-10 hours a day.

Different from day to day.
Some days i'm just on maybe like 3-4 hours
Some other days its 5-6-7 hours
But some weekends, it's around 15 or more hours

Which computer? I use a number of computers for my work, then after work I use 1 or more of my personal computers. I'd say I am on my work & personal computers about 12 hours a day during the week. Weekends I am down to maybe 3-4 hours a day.

I'm more a casual user I would think.. 3-5 hours a day..
however I've used it more recently getting the laptop on line.
I use it for some photography work.. e-mailings... groups..and more..

Well I ticked 7 -9 hours but it could be more I don't actually count the hours, being retired means I can spend as long as I want on the computer.

Joan I think I need to add more hours to mine also.. I'm on a lot ... just night hours.. not counting the hours in daytime.. some days when I have to be away of course there are none until I return home.

kinda cheating, but I'm in front of a computer at work 8 hrs and then go home and get on the personal PC... so 10+ really = 2-3 of personal use

If the weather is bad - cold/rainy - I may be on the computer 8 hours or more. If the weather is nice, I only spend a couple of hours on it.

When I'm not asleep or at work so 5 or 6 hours a day although I flick back and forth with the tv tuner so some of that is not really computer time.
