No nVidia GTX400 series entries? Pfui.

The top single-processor cards at the moment are the nVidia GTX480 and the ATI Radeon HD 5870. ATI has the 5970, which is a dual processor product.

You can get more performance from two or more cards in SLI (nVidia) or Crossfire (ATI).

Here's a seriously extreme system:

(Dual 6 core Xeon CPUs, 4-way SLI. Liquid nitrogen isn't recommended for daily use.)

Speaking of power, make sure that your power supply is up to the task. The GTX480 and the 5970 are essentially 300W cards. There is no single PSU that can supply four GTX480 cards, as far as I know.

power is not a problem, i have two (still boxed) Seasonic 850 watt power supplies i can dedicate to each graphics card...might look ugly stacked outside the case but hey

i can add one more card to my current MOBO, however i am also open to suggestion of 4 cards on a new mobo.////////
