Dear friends,
I'm really getting fed up with all the administrator/priviledges stuff.
Since I am the only one that uses this computer, I want to have ALL rights for EVERYTHING. Is there a way to do this in a few simple steps ?
There is an "administrator" and 1 user(me)

(win7/64 pro)

thanks in advance !

What are you trying to access? Because you already have access to everything. Even without the Administrator account. The only thing you are going to have trouble access are places you don't need access like "Documents and Settings" or other such virtual directories. The second is HDDs or partitions setup from an old/previous installation of Windows, the permissions to those are still setup for the previous installation and need to be updated.

By default you are made a member of the administrators group, you are still subject to UAC restrictions etc though. This is done to prevent your system from being compromised by an infection. Turn UAC off (not recommended) and those prompts will stop. There is also a built in system administrator account that is hidden by default. This account is not restricted by UAC or anything else. You access it when you select run as administrator. You could log in with that account but again, its not recommended you do that. This is just a for your information post.

There is a way, but it is not recommended that it be tried. The danger is that if you do not know what you are doing and you have all this power, you could create major problems for yourself.
What you should or should not do is use the hidden administrator
