I am afraid that is not possible.
You are referring to a dynamic library file, which assists in opening files in programs they associated with.
But you can not open anything in it, because that is not an editor or viewer in any way.

Depending on your file, you have to use proper program to open that file (ex. bmp in Paint, jpg in Photo Viewer, doc in Word etc.).
For that right click your file, click a menu OPEN WITH and select proper program.

Hi,have same problem,running win 7 64 bit,but due to hijack,many system files are XP SP2
I am having problems with Corel painter,and notice that many of its files
"Open with" windows shell common,according to their properties
However the PRE file,which is stopping the program from opening does not,and I want to try getting it to match the other file properties,is this not possible?
