I wan't upgrade my Windows Vista to Windows 7 but

But i havn't put D drive FACTORY_IMAGE too a disc so if i install windows 7 it will be gone and i can never restore my computer to how i got it out of the box

can i put FACTORY_IMAGE too a usb stick and still restore my pc so annoying

just have to buy the disc right

You should be able to create Recovery Disks first, then you can delete that Recovery partition as it will likely be disabled by Win7 install.

Look in your manual or All Programs list for the way to make the Recovery disks, or call your tech support.

You can also make an image of Vista to back up externallly in case you need to restore it.
