So I was over at the dell site looking at the drivers to download so I can install them on a re-install I plan on doing over the holiday break but there appears to be quite a laundry list of them Search - Dell Community

Do you recommend downloading all of these, or just the urgent and recommended ones as it looks like there are some optional ones?

It's my experience with Dell that whatever is downloaded will not install if not for that computer, have never been hurt by installing the wrong driver. It's a big thing when not knowing exactly which adapter/device is present.

After a little a checking, it appears my drivers are up to date, so I'll just copy them to my external, but there are a few that I'm not sure about :

When installing my SSD I used the SSD guide and it says:
EDIT! 3/22/10: The new INTEL chipset drivers 9.6.0.1014 support TRIM! Use these instead of the MS AHCI ones for Intel Chipsets.
RAID: Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Driver for Intel Desktop Boards

Altought it says desktop, laptop board drivers appear to be available, so I never installed this driver:Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver Driver Details | Dell US

and then of course there are these drivers from the intel site: (apparently my havendale/clarkdale chipset falls under the series 5 family which is one of the requirments)
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=24293&lang=eng&ProdId=2101
SoI'm a bit confused on what to do or use, if I should do anything at all (as I'll be asking a few questions in that forum come time to erase my SSD upon reinstall)

I do have a Arrandale processor on this laptop, so I figured this would be acceptable:

I also have the NVIDIA video driver, but saw this Intel driver and was just curious:

If you access the downloads using the Dell Service Tag number, it will only list all the applicable drivers - as it was built.
