i3 3240T Overclocking

is the Intel i3 3240T overclockable unlike the normal 3240?

I seriously doubt it.

T is the ultra-low power processors.

thanks ignatzatsonic, i think i will go for a sandybridge instead of an ivy bridge because of heat complications, and layback bear i am not talking about my current pc but my future 1, any way im getting 4gb (2x2) for the old one

As far as I know, the "heat complications" rarely come into play, other than in an extreme overclocking situation.

Sandy Bridge may overclock a little higher, but Ivy Bridge does a little more work with each clock cycle, so it's probably a standoff.

Ivy Bridge has a few features not found on Sandy Bridge that may be useful to you.

Re-examine all of this when you get to D-Day minus 30 days.
