So my buddy asked me to post this regarding his i7 930 temperatures. He's running a ASETEK 510LC 120MM WATERCOOLER, but his temperatures vary among his cores. On average, his cores idle around 50, but each core has a different temperature, such as 46 to 55. On a watercooled system, those temps seemed a bit high to me, but I thought it'd be better to ask you all since I don't own an i7.
Here are his system specs:
1TB SATA III 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB CACHE
SUPERCLOCK EVGA NVIDIA GTX470 1.25GB
GIGABYTE X58A-UD3R 3WAY CROSSFIRE
6 GB DDR3 PC3 PC1333
COOLERMASTER SILENT PRO 850W POWER
Thanks!
EDIT: He just informed me that his temps reached about 80 when playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
