Solved Icon disappeared

im sure theres a fix for this but can't seem to find the right one
i tried icon cache rebuild though .

not sure if it will work ,but try right clicking the icon, select properties/customize tab and then select image to use for this folder icon

okay, but i want the default icon back.
any idea where that drive icon is located?

BTW, you are using 32 bit windows. Is it SP1 installed or not ?

okay, started the sfc/scannow its 32 bit sp1

thanks. i tried it, but it says "Failed to set data for " " when i click apply..

Now, browse to C:\Windows\system32\imageres.dll . Copy it on desktop . Zip it. Upload the zip in mediafire and post the link to me .

I want to see if it is ok, or if it needs any adjustment.

If any adjustments are needed, I will do it, and return it to you, with the steps to apply it.

well that didn't work either
but the problem is solved, i just moved all the data from there to the other drive and formatted it its back to normal.
