Welcome to Seven Forums JOY6679. Do you run any cleaning or registry programs? Some can and will reset the icons. If you set them the way you like and restart, are they changed right away, or only after the PC is shut off and then restarted?

Thank you for the warn welcome. Yes the disgby icon resets and just hides after either a restart or after shutting down the pc and turning it on after a while. Thanks in advance!

You didn't mention if you use any programs like CCleaner? This tute may seem to be the opposite of what you want. But it may reset and allow you to start fresh.

I have a program that I run as part of a weekly cleaning that resets them all too, haven't bothered to figure out precisely which. It is all the icons that reset, and not just the Digsby?

Well actually, its been sometime since ive used CCleaner, I dont have that many icons in the tray but the ones that change are the digsby icons (program and mail icons) and the flag issues icon, since those are pretty much the ones I have I guess they are all resetting.

I have the same problem with the Mailwasher Pro icon. I also use cCleaner.

After resetting it to 'Show icon and notifications' I ran cCleaner, there was no change to the status. It could be that I have to reboot but JOY doesn't run cCleaner often by the sounds of it and it still happens to them.

My only observation is that this is the only icon that I have that changes (when a new email appears on the server). Both icons are displayed in the customization window and both are selected 'Show icon and notifications'.

I found the solution to my problem here::ar: http://www.sevenforums.com/software/79114-mailwasher-pro-notification-area.html
