My friend got a new dell and it didnt have any ide ports. So i told her i would take her old IDE hard drive and transfer all of its contents to one of my sata hard drives and then take my sata hard drive over to her house and put all the data on her hard drive. I installed the ide in my system no problem but when i try and transfer all the data i get errors with security. i tried this http://www.sevenforums.com/installa...y-have-permission-access-fold.html#post200511 and it allows me access to that folder but not to its files or sub folders. I get errors like these depending on if its a file or folder error TinyPic I could go through and do this for every single file but that would take about 13 years lol. I started doing that but then i realized that ill prob have to do the same thing when i take my hard drive to her computer. Is there a way to blanket the whole hard drive and give me, the admin, rights to every file

Windows 7 It was my idea... sigh

Thanks
