IE 10 Problems

IE 10 was installed by automatic update. Since, when I try to open downloads, I get a message about not being able to open due to security problems. Also, I cannot send files; I don't get any message, they just don't go anywhere. After I go into IE options and reduce security levels, the files will open and emailed files are then sent. After shutting down for the day and restarting the next day, IE reverts back to where it was the day before. (I select "apply" after changing the setting before selecting "ok" in IE) Also, I constantly get a message asking "do I want to stay on the page or leave the page" out of the blue (without me doing anything).
(My computer at home is exactly like the one at my office and has IE10 installed by automatic updates. I do not encounter any of these problems on it.)
I thank you for any help you can provide.

Open reliability monitor and see if anything shows up,

Also test using Clean boot,

And finally for now use No Add-ons mode,
Add the Run box to the Start menu list,

Open the Run command and Paste this into it and Okay,
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff
