Solved IE 9 Menu on top doesn't work

Anyone else had it not work. Did the reg from Brinks tute, did it with TweakIE9, did it manually. restored to default and did it all again. The reg key is there and set to 1, but the menu bar never moves.

It's not a huge deal, but I've always had a way to get it on top. Glad Opera is my default.

Hello Bill,

It appears that his no longer works in the final RTM Internet Explorer 9 version. It did work in the IE9 RC and Beta vesions though.

My IE9 menu bar file/edit/view.... was there when I installed IE9, I wonder if it came over from IE8
where I had gone to the tools and told it to show the bar. Maybe I am lucky. Have you looked at tools?
In tools, I just looked at customize and there was tools on the right hand side.

Hello Rich,

I believe Bill meant for the Menu bar to be on the top of IE9, instead of just the Menu bar turned on or off in IE9.

Thanks Shawn, at least it isn't just me. Yes Rich, I easily got the menu to display always, but I like it on top A Guy

It's a shame. It did work in IE9 RC and IE9 beta.
