IE 9 observation

When i switch between open tabs (with pages loaded), "Your most popular sites" flashes briefly before rendering the actually site loaded. Anyone else noticed this?

A littel update.
I noticed what's happening a little closer i think. On first start of the program (i use -private switch btw) i type in, say sevenforums.com and we're off and surfing. If i open another tab, by default, it was opening the "your most popular sites" (empty boxes because of being InPrivate). Once i enter in a site for that tab, and start switching between the two tabs, i was being flashed the "your most popular sites" screen before the sites would actually render.

I went to internet options > tab settings > and chose a new tab to open as a blank page (as opposed to new tab default). Now i'm being flashed a blank page if i repeat the procedure.
open IE
type in URL
open new tab (blank page now)
type in URL
switch between tabs (shows blank white page).

Not sure why but it seems to be pulling whatever you have as a setting for how to open a new tab and briefly displaying it
