IE 9 release

Does anybody know when Internet Explorer 9 will release? I thought they said the first half of 2010, but it is not here yet.

You can download the second test drive version from Internet Explorer 9: Platform Demos, I'm not sure how stable/functional it is. I've given up on IE and just use the IE plugin for chrome when necessary now.

As for release dates I don't know but I'd imagine near the time when they release Windows Live Wave 4 which will hopefully be later this month but I wouldn't hold my breath.

The IE9 Platform Preview is intended for web developers. Our goal is to help them prepare for changes coming in Internet Explorer 9 and provide them with an opportunity to deliver feedback.
Internet Explorer 9’s public availability will be dependent on when it reaches the quality bar for release.
