I am webmaster of our club site and use an online host. The site works great in Fire Fox, Chrome, Opera in Win 7, Fire Fox in Linux, Firefox on an XP laptop, and on our I Pad. No issues.
Upon viewing the site with IE on my Win 7 Ultimate desktop, the site locks right up. It will no longer be available on the aforementioned browsers/devices. Anything trying to go through my local network won't resolve the site. I then have to wait an hour or so and it will start working again. This is not only the website, but the site of the host as well. I cannot get into their C Panel while it is locked up. All other websites work ok though. I can access the site with my phone on 3G since its not going through my local network. Other people can access it as well so its a local issue here with my systems.
I have reset the Road Runner modem and router and rebooted.... no good. I did a DNS flush with no luck. No entries in the host file. I really don't like IE but its sort of necessary to view sites in it in order to resolve any issues with display in IE. I had IE 10 installed and rolled back to 9 with the same results. I suppose I could use IE Tab in FF if all else fails. Haven't tried that yet.
Anyone have an idea on what to do next?
