Hi there
some of you using IE11 might find that certain sites now find you can't get to the web page for specific sites --particularly things like LOCAL sites -- I have a Music server which needs to access local host (127.0.0.1:9000).

What you now need to do is either turn off security enhanced mode in the security settings in the browser or (better) add these sites to the trusted sites also in the security settings.

For those testing Windows 8 with IE10 - you *might* not have to do this immediately but if you start getting "Site cannot be displayed" type of messages after various windows updates then change the settings as in the post (also for IE10 in Windows 7 if you get the same problem).

Just running in compatibility mode or trying to disable ipv6 as suggested on a lot of sites DOESN'T FIX THE PROBLEM. Just add to trusted sites or disable enhanced security (only do that as a last resort).

Cheers

Enhanced Protection Mode is not activated by default on win-7 and ie10 if that's what your referring to as "enhanced security"
Which deactivating it only resets back to default setting,
Thanks for sharing the issues with ie11rtm..
Cheers.
