I don't know if anybody noticed but my feel is the Windows 7, or IE has problems with maintaining/detecting internet connectivity at times.
Let's say I have 4 open tabs in IE.
I'd be able to surf on 3 tabs, but the last 2 tabs will display an error which appears only when you are not connected.
Funny thing is, it's not the internet connection, because whenever I encounter this, I would test the 'failed tab' by keying the same link as another tab that was working fine.
Say, Tab 3 - gamespy, OK
but, test Tab 4 - gamespy - error
So, I would be actively surfing a website on a tab with no problems but would be having issues trying to surf the same site (at the same page) on another tab.
There would also be times where, after doing a 'right click - open in new tab' on a link, it wouldn't load the first time, and you'd have to refresh it for it to load. There would even be times when you'd have to close the tab, reopen it again and type the link in manually for it to work.
Wierd huh.
