IE8 issues...

So, I tried uninstall/reinstall, same result.
Uninstall.. IE6 restored completely fine.
Tried stepping up to IE7 before IE8... IE7 flickers and quits.

Thoughts?

I tried registering several DLLs (urlmon.dll, mshtml.dll, actxprxy.dll, oleaut32.dll, shell32.dll, shdocvw.dll) with regsvr32. All succeeded except mshtml.dll.
Error: mshtml.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.

I tried specifying the path.. several approaches. None seem to be working.
I would say, drop IE and use FireFox or Chrome, but I'm a web developer. So I kind of need it.
