Hello Everyone,

I need your help to solve a problem I have with Windows 7 and IE8.
I am using Windows 7 on my Fujitsu-Siemens laptop.
I have Firefox 3.6.3 as default Browser.
However I was able to run IE whenever I wanted by clicking on the IE Icon in start menu.
I also could run Browser Choice to change between IE and Firefox back and forth.
Now when I run IE it cannot start. More exactly it start then stop immediately without accessing any page. (My connection is good, Firefox run without a problem.)
Also when I try to run Browser Choice, it doesn't start at all.
I've tried to download the latest version of IE (with Firefox) but it would not let me download it, saying that IE8 is included in W7.
I do not find anyway to un-install IE.
The only option is to disable IE, but there is a warning that by disabling it, some other functionality of W7 could be affected, that's why I haven't do it yet.
Could anyone help me with this issue please?
I've uploaded the error messages. Hope that they are visible from you.Internet Explorer crashes.jpg

1) Try starting IE8 in "no add-ons" mode.

Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) and see if you still encounter this issue. If you do not, start IE normally again and disable all plug-ins. Enable each plug-in—one by one—after browsing for some time with each plug-in. This way you can isolate the plug-in causing the problem. Click on the Disable or Remove button after selecting the plug-in in the Manage Add-ons window to fix the problem.

2) Try resetting IE8:

Open Internet Explorer.
Click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab.
Under Reset Internet Explorer Settings, click Reset.

i thought about that too, usually good solution to solve any problem related to "stop working" of IE. just because he said that IE stopped imidiately before he could access any web pages<---??

Go to Start
Type "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore -extoff" and press Enter
Does IE open for you then?
If so, there's an issue with one (or more) of your Add-ons and they'll have to be uninstalled.
This is the 32 bit version of IE (and is the one that plays Flash).

Go to Start
Type "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore -extoff" and press Enter
Does IE open for you then?
This is the 64 bit version of IE and may/may not be an issue for you - depending on which version of IE that you've been using (it does not play Flash)

Thank you all.

Running IE - no add-on works. (From Start all Programs etc...)
I have now to determine which one is responsible, and I will also run the SFC too.
Thanks a lot folks.:)

MyWebSearch is also classified as "Spyware" by a number of different antivirus/antispyware applications.
Try some of these free, online scans: Malware (read the details at the link)
AFAIK - the Panda scan is no longer offering free removals.

WeatherBug is by far the most malware and spyware infected download you can get. It even says that it contains malware and spyware right before you agree to install it. If your lucky you can remove those with a good malware scan but that program is hardly worth the risk.
