Solved IE9 & Adobe Flash

Hello all - another gripe I'm afraid.
Am trying IE9 and yes that damn Flash Player doesn't work with IE9 unless I download a version that allows it.

Now I have just about had it with Flash and the persistent and monotonous times this is happening, plus the damn havoc it has caused me in the past.

Anyone got any ideas on where to get the Flash that will let me get YT and presentation vids as the site I tried to access this morning for a video of a security product asked me to download the latest and yep you've guessed it – the Flash doesn't have a version that is compatable with 64bit IE9. Plus I got the message in the pic which I am not game to try in view of my past "experiences".

Why a company like Adobe lags beind like this ALL the time is beyond me and quite frankly makes me wonder why anyone would buy or use their products – absolutely frustrating to the "n"th degree.

it kinda figures adobe would pull something like that. I have windows 7 home premium 64 bit and it seems like youtube plays fine on my laptop, at least it did yesterday i didnt try it today. apple has the right idea not wanting to install adobe crap on there systems. why support a company that cant keep up.

Actually there is a version of flash for x64, and, specifically for IE9. Adobe Flash Square.

Hiyya computerboy Yes mate I am so over Adobe and their damn apps (all of them) that just about everything it seems to need them to run - like YT.
What gets me really p****d off is that they would have to be blind not to know that IE9 was coming and could - no SHOULD - have done something about it.

It took me many attempts (weeks) before finally getting Flash to run on the laptop and desky (both were using 64bit 7 and IE8) and have been no problems for some time.

So when I put IE9 on the desky yesterday and then found YT will not work - I was so cheesed off.

Now it did occur to me that at least they could have made it back compatable or something, and short of unistalling the IE9 and going back to IE8 I can't think of what to do. At least I didn't put 9 on the laptop - as luck would have it.
But I don't see why for the sake of Adobe getting their flaming act together I should to go to that length.

The download is from Adobe. If you notice it says macromedia in the URL, and macromedia is Adobe.

You should be fine with this download. I'd say give it a shot

Thanks ie9 will have to I think as there doesn't seem too many options except for one thing I thought of tryiing and that was going back to IE8.

Hmmmm ie9 and others have just been put in my place by someone - didn't think to see if the other IE9 was a 32bit - tried it and plain sailing.
