I have W7-64, so wanted to install IE9 Beta plus Flash Square. When I did that, I got IE9 in both places. That is, it installed in Program Files (where IE8-64 was) and in Prog Files (x86) (where IE8-x86 was). Now I no longer have any IE8. My only option was to use system restore, so I am back to where I was before IE9.
I would still like to test the beta, but want to know if I could install it in a third location, to retain IE8-x86, plus IE8-64, plus have IE9 Beta.

BTW, when I had IE9 for a short while, I could not load the American Express Credit Card website. Is this a known bug with this site and IE9?

The IE9 Beta Release Notes are really confusing, but you should still have IE8 on your system because you can't uninstall it, you can only turn it off. The notes below refer to a different query, but they do indicate that IE8 should still be on the system, but may be turned off. See below:

(From Microsoft’s “Release Notes re IE 9 Beta”) - Release Notes for Internet Explorer 9 Beta
"To turn off Internet Explorer 8, uninstall Internet Explorer 9 first. If Internet Explorer 8 was turned off using "Turn Windows features on or off," when Internet Explorer 9 is installed, Internet Explorer 8 will be turned on. To turn off Internet Explorer 8, use "Turn Windows features on or off" to turn off Internet Explorer 8 after Internet Explorer 9 is installed."
