I just upgraded to IE9 for IE8. On a work website there's a button I click to convert the data on the web page to an Excel file. In IE8 when I clicked that link, the new Excel file would open on in that same tab. This is the preferred option because I copy and paste info from that file into an Excel file that's already open in a seperate window.
In IE9 when I click that link, the new Excel file opens on top of the Excel file that's already open.
How do I make IE9 open an Excel file in the existing tab and not on top of my open Excel file?
