Solved IE9 - Partial Downloads, Not Uploading & More

Hi All:

Another problem with IE9 re: new Download Manager.

I'm trying to download various files (mp3, etc.) and it stops at 99% or an error message of file interrupted. In addition, the download manager progress menu is not clearing itself. It says I have about 5 downloads active when in actual fact I have only one.

With the previous "save as" downloader, I very rarely encountered any problems in downloading regardless of file type.

I've spent yesterday and today re-downloading several files. I still have a 99% incomplete download(s).

Also, I can't upload to my website which uses a Java-based uploader. The Download Manager keeps interrupting my uploads. Even IE8 Compatibility Mode doesn't work.

Any one else experiencing this problem? Any fixes available?

IE9 incomplete downloads

I have this same problem - about half of my attempted downloads hang up at 99%. I often have to download the same file 3 or 4 times before it completes. This is not for one specific file - it occurs no matter what type of file and from any web site. This was never a problem with previous versions of IE.
