When I go to 2 specific sites(www.runescape.com and www.runescape.wikia.com) my internet explorer asks me if I want to open or save xd_arbiter.css from static.ak.facebook.com.
This started happening today, and is intermitent.
There's no other page that triggers this.
It's asking me whenever I reload the page,or go onto another page from that site.
I did ask for help from the runescape forums, but no capable moderators answered.

I think this is facebook's invasive cookies going berserk,as they alredy do more than they're supposed(they spy on us,run as fast as you can!).

Or it might be some malware...

Anybody have any ideas on what this is,if I should panic, and how to stop it?

Thanks in advance!

You are not alone (unless this is your posts :))

Forums - RuneScape - MMORPG - The No. 1 Free Online Multiplayer Game

css is Cascading Style Sheets, it is part of a web page language usually used to set fonts and such. It should just display in the background, not prompt for download. Does the page display normally if you deny it? Do you have Firefox or another browser you can try that site in? A Guy

Cause of xd_arbiter.css error

Facebook screwed up. This is part of their "Like" button and is occuring all over the internet. This is not a problem with anyone's computer. This is a problem with how they configured their component. I added a line to my hosts file because I was sick of seeing it and this disables the like button.

That's my post,a guy:P.
So,it's just me.
It displays normally after I decline it.
And no,I use IE9 because it's default, and I consider it efficient and easy to use.
It stopped for the moment being, but idk how long that'll last...
spkrason,that's a little bit drastical,isn't it?

It was not malicious by the sound of it, but rather a coding problem on the site. Sounds like they corrected it. A Guy
