On my computer at work with windows 7 on it IE9 and Firefox isn’t working anymore on certain websites (i.e. email website will not go to the log in page I’ve tried a few different sites). After loading for a while it will go to a blank white page. I’ve tried some simple IE9 troubleshooting such as deleting browsing history, resetting IE9, uninstalling and going back to IE8 and it still has the same problems, turning off all firewalls and virus protection, I looked for a virus by downloading two new viruses detecting software’s (bit defender and Kaspersky). I thought it could be a problem with logging on to the part of the web site that will use encrypted information. But I can log on to a banking site or other sites where I log in and it works. So I think maybe now it could be trouble logging into sites that use pop3 servers. Another kicker to this problem is that Google chrome dose work on these web sites but it takes longer than normal. Also my laptop hooked up to the same router works without a problem. Last idea I had was a sector of my ram is bad and has created a problem with a .dill with the windows software. Any ideas or help would be great thanks

internet sites were hotmail.com aol.com yahoo.com where you log into the sites and some random ones online while most other sites work. i tried the Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and that doesn't work on internet explorer or Google chrome it just goes to a white page but i know that it runs at a good rate getting download speeds of 4 MB. i have done all general resets and the other found on the forms also downloaded registry repair programs and that didn't work, now i think im on resetting windows 7 which i feel is the next step but if i really don't want to do that. if you could help that would be great.

When you did a reset of IE, did you remember to check "Delete Personal Settings"?
