Attached is a screen shot of IE9 Beta that I sucessfully installed in 64 bit including Adobe Square which is the beta 64 bit flash player(FINALLY). Being an old dog that likes evrything the same as before I can't change the viewing setting on the command bars, I would like to move my favorites to the left on the command bar. Unfortunately the default keeps the * on the right side of the bar.
Any ideas?

You can't without some serious modding.

If you want it on the left that badly stick with IE8 or another browser.

There is no way to move the right side favs to the left. I prefer the old way but.....

Right click the bar at top with Home, RSS feed, mail, printer icons. Tool bar I guess it is. I forget.

Any way right click it then left click "Command Bar". This will give you favorites on left and right. Plus the other old normal IE icons.

I have mine this way and prefer this older look to the page.

One of the main problems that program designers have is the implementation of the User Interface. Unfortunately, there is never going to be a single interface that suits everybody, so in many cases it might just be a case of learning to accept it in much the same way as you learn to accept the differences between different versions of Windows. However, IE9 is still in Beta, so it is quite possible that the final position of the Favorites might move back to the left. It all depends on the feedback that they've received. Personally, I've got used to the current layout and its quirks, but will adapt should it change.
