IEXPLORER fails to show files; & crashes

Sometimes it does download those files (pdf format), but more often it fails to open my Adobe Reader. Changing the state of the Protection Mode does not fix that.
And sometimes it crashes when just moving down the page. This happens in my web site, hosted in Google’s Sites, in pages of the File Cabinet type.
Other browsers perform fine in both those operations: showing pdf files and moving up and down that same page.
Thanks for any help.

Try removing IE and reinstalling. To remove IE, type "Turn Windows" in the start box and click the first result. Be sure to download IE directly from Microsoft, not a third-party site. If the problem continues, you may consider switching to Firefox or Chrome.

Hello ACA,

When the PDF file does not load like it should for me using Adobe Reader like this, I can usually get it to work fine by reloading the webpage.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Thank you for your help, Jonathan.
Thank you Brink, also; though in my case your procedure does not succeed, unfortunately.
