I just bought sony vaio S Series, with original Win 7 home basic 64 bit. But, many of my device such as printers, network wifi and etc not support for win 7 64 bit. Now, I want to install win 7 32-bit on my laptop. But, My CD Win 7 bootable won't boot at my laptop. After i check bios, i found something strange on boot menu orders, if the boot in "Legacy" mode, that laptop will boot from my cd. But if "UEFI" mode, looks like the system has ignore my boot cd, and go straight to windows 7 64 bit. Has anyone solve this problem? Will somebody help me to solve my problem? Thanks anyway
You can install 32 bit to an EFI BIOS but it has to be in Legacy mode, with EFI Boot disk removed from the BIOS Boot order, and the HD wiped with Diskpart Clean Command so installer can reformat it from (EFI formatted) GPT disk to the normal MBR disk.
So, I have to reformatted entire disk.
How can i make a backup copy of my original win 7 64 bit? Which program i have to use to make a backup of my original windows?
Thanks anyway, mr. gregrocker... i appreciate that.
