Windows Starter OEM is the version coming into the machine by the manufacturer (ASUS). OEM has no DC DVD or installing.

Are you saying reset to factory condition, with Recovery Partition?
Why are you wanting to do that?
If you need to fix Win7 a repair install is usually the path to follow.

Because of my W Starter is a Crack (it was the unique way to clean repair my small nEtbook with original windows.

(Now, no Windows Tool restoring points works anymore. I ve never had Partition, just 1, C: ).

By the way, for making imaging backup, W-7 does not work. There are marketings for Macrium Home Free against Acronis True Image, and so on.

Any suggestion? Any experience with both, recently 2019/2020, everyone?

Normally a OEM computer has a Recovery partition with a image that allow you to restore the netbook the way it came from Asus.
You launch the recovery from BIOS (If you still have the system and recovery partition on the disk)
The Win 7 starter is only available on 32 bits.
Do you have the COA sticker with the key code?
Do you have a Win 7 32bits installation disk?

After installation use Simplix
It will download a file that has all updates but not the tracking ones. Very good.

As the recovery partition has no letter assigned to it, maybe you still have it
You did not answer my questions:

Megahertz07 As a have said before, my w Starter is illegal, Crack , pirate.

I do not have installation CD (just my legal W Home Premium 64 bits, too heavy for my little nEtbook).
Whats is COA?

The Produckt Key on the backdoor of the nEtbook is valid only if it were original.
I am waiting for answer from the ASUS Service in Brazil. I ve already registered and the site ASUS Service shows is Approval. So I have to wait.

With the COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) key on the sticker and a Win 7 SP1 32 bits you can install and activate on your netbook.
Win7_HomePrem_SP1_BR_PT_x32.iso

It is a Win 7 HP. All Win 7 installation disks has all versions (Starter, HB. HP, Pro & Ultimate)
Download the iso file.
Extract eicfg_removal_utility.zip (attached) and run eicfg_remover.exe to make the iso universal (all versions). Read the readme.txt.
Burn a DVD or make a USB boot able drive.
For the updates, use Simplix. MS releases SP2 for Windows 7

I ve written the problem is with W Starter nEtbook. And is a pirate version. I know now it is just AsUS do Brasil, the ASUS SITE' Service already received my registering (sorry for my english). And now I just wait for their response to send from my city Recife (main city of Northeast of Brazil) to São Paulo far way from here.
Any way, thak you again. About my H Premium, I will wait after May (new Build named now 2004). Maybe in June or jlly often new version have new bugs...

Yes, you already said you have a pirate Win 7 starter on your computer.
I've sent you a link to download a Win 7 SP1 32bits that has win 7 starter no it.

With it you can install a non pirate version of win 7 starter on your Netbook.

There will be no Build named now 2004.
