Hey,

When I'm playing certain video games, like Battlefield Play4Free, sometimes, my computer lag spikes and then my screen flashes black. Then the lag's gone.
After that, in the tray notification area, I get a message saying, "Display driver Igfx stopped responding and successfully recovered".

That happens too often.
Plz help. Thanks!

In that case the best course may be to reinstall Windows and start all over again.

If you intend doing that the best method would be to download an ISO Image of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 from Official Windows 7 SP1 ISO from Digital River « My Digital Life and burn it on a DVD to create an installation disk, install from the burnt DVD and activate it with the Product Key that you already have. You shall then have a bloatware free installation.

OK, I know how to make a crapware free version, thanks.
But I think that I won't do this, because my computer is cruddy and I'm planning to replace it soon.

But thanks for the help.
Anybody else have some solutions?

I think you nailed it mate. It's not strong enough to play resource intensive games.
