First, I'm sorry this is not a Windows 7 thing, but I was hoping someone could help as I can't find the answer anywhere else.

Work's OS is Server 2008, and we run terminals at each desk.
We have had a lot of IT problems lately, including security certificates in Outlook etc.
Since the last problem where the IT man had to fix the cert problem, I can't access Facebook. I've tried searching for this problem everywhere, no go.
I am allowed on FB on lunch breaks and after/before work hours, so the boss hasn't blocked it. FB is the only site this happens on.

I'll attach two screenshots, one is when I go to FB homepage, the other the login page.

Can someone tell me how I can get around this, or find out exactly why this is happening? A temporary fix would do. Thanks.

Well you can start by checking C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host
If that does not tell you then its probably the DNS server the company uses.

Indeed - facebook isn't running on IIS web servers for starters (they use an in-house developed PHP server called HipHop and also use Apache for other things), so that's a dead giveaway.
