Just got in from my vacation in the UK. Just clean installed the newest version, 7000 I think. Anything I need to be aware of?
Any tweaks that do or don't work as with other pre-beta's?

I had a great time. I was staying with friends in Pimlico, London and the only time I ate out was on Monday, at a gourmet burger joint just off Carnaby Street. The person I ate with had no problems, so the cause remains a mystery. It's most likely I caught a flu bug despite having had the flu shot.

It certainly was chilly there, but try -16°C (-27 with the wind-chill taken into account) here in Toronto. At least it's sunny which brings some consolation I suppose.

Its -12 and with the wind chill its -25 to -35 and the sun doesn't help either. Also glad your back Ex-Brit

I haven't started tweaking it yet. Any tweaks that don't work? I heard a rumour that some that worked for the pre-beta do, some don't.

Glad you had a nice time over here, that stomach bug seems to be going around quite a lot at the moment.

A friend of mine over in Toronto was on about the weather saying it was minus 21 and the Arctic freeze was going to hit and be down in the minus 30's starting today so I don't envy you, take care and it's nice to see you back.

Thanks. Yes, this stomach bug is really bad. Never had to cope with the trots for more than 1 day before...this is now 3 and then I had nausea too...in the middle of my flight back...thanks God I made it to the loo in time, saved the embarrassment of using the sick bag in front of everyone! I was in 1st class too and had to forgo an excellent meal...a thousand curses.

The weather here can be rather chilly this time of year...we are used to it and well equipped. It's deceptive. Looking out of my windows I see glorious blue sunny skies.
