I'll say that the gadget lie. Install some program like everest or speccy to check that.
Also you can do that in Command Prompt.
Start->Run->cmd.exe . There type systeminfo. You'll see there. :)

Impossible to tell. Both are telling you have 2 GB RAM installed.

The gadget then shows also how much you are currently using and how much is free, and how much virtual memory is available. The OS screenshot on the right tells absolutely nothing else of your RAM than that you have 2 GB installed. It does not show how much RAM is used or available, nor does it show how much virtual memory is used or available.

You have 2 GB of RAM installed plus an additional 4 GB of virtual memory. You seem to have a 64-bit Windows 7, so I would buy at least 2 more GB's of RAM to get most out of it.

Use the gadgets built into Win7 which are more stable and use less resources. Rightclick the empty desktop.

It's time to upgrade to retail Win7 as the evaluation copy is not supported and thus not safe.

I did not see any picture before,but now it's there. :)
And yes you have 2GB of RAM Memory installed on your pc. As gregrocker says it will be good to update your copy of Windows. ;)
